Some Favorite Books I’ve Read To My Daughter

As a single dad, reading books with my daughter is a deeply treasured weekend experience.

While I won’t pretend like I don’t depend on Ms. Rachel, Daniel Tiger, and other YouTube kids’ content for back-up occasionally, I do my best to mitigate my daughter’s screen time and encourage her linguistic development through building a habit of reading.

Some of them do contain religious overtones or content that may be disagreeable to you if you’re looking to raise your child(ren) secularly.

Additionally, I would encourage checking for their availability at your local library before ordering them from Amazon or wherever else.

As one might’ve gathered from the title’s reference to Genesis, this is one of those aforementioned religiously-informed children’s books…
